The WashU Law Online Classroom Experience

Students complete asynchronous coursework on their own schedule, then join live evening sessions (CST) once per week. Classes are kept intentionally small, just 10 to 15 students, so every participant is part of the conversation.

The online LLM in U.S. Law is taught by a blend of WashU Law’s distinguished residential faculty and expert legal practitioners. They teach the law and they work in it, which means the curriculum reflects both the legal frameworks and the professional realities students encounter in practice.

Lasting Connections and Career Benefits

WashU Law’s alumni network spans the globe, and online students can connect with it and the wider WashU Law community from day one through virtual events.
